NDA / CDSE / ACC / AFCAT / TA

National Defence Academy Entrance examination applied by intermediate pass out and graduate candidates respectively. Candidates who wants to make their shining career in Indian Defence forces and then these examinations are the best option and the greatest opportunity for them. Candidates for various Indian Defence forces such as Army, Navy and Air Force gets selected on the basis of their performance in entrance exam. Both examination gets twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). Selected candidates have to go through three years training at Kadakwasla, Pune where they complete their graduation. Further training is completed with commission as per their choice of Arms at Military, Naval and Air Force Academy respectively. The above said exam are only for those aspirants who want to serve Indian Army selflessly.  The career in Defence is challenging and full of aspirants.

The Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy. The Notification for the examination is usually released in the months of October and June, and the examinations are conducted in February and November respectively. Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam. Successful candidates are admitted into the respective Academies after an interview conducted  by Services Selection Board (SSB). Army Cadet College (ACC) is an institution located in Indian Military Academy Campus, Dehradun which trains cadets those who have been already serving in Defence Forces (Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air force). Army Cadet College entry is the golden opportunity for serving soldiers to become a commissioned officer in the Indian Army and fulfill their dream of serving nation as an officer. The nature of training at ACC is almost similar that of National Defence Academy (NDA) as both run 3 years degree course in science and humanities. The added advantage that the ACC cadets bring to the Army as officers are a deep understanding of the soldier life and a consequently better appreciations of the tasking of the men. Shaurya Academy has produced excellent results in ACC entrance exam. Out team is considered best coaching institute for ACC entrance exam in entire Uttarakhand. The exams are held twice a year.

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted by the Indian Air Force for selection of officers in all branches except medical and dental. It gives opportunity to get commission in Flying Branch (Short Service Commission Only), Technical Branch (Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission) and Ground Duty Branch (Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission). AFCAT is conducted twice a year for which advertisement is published in the months of June and December.

Territorial Army (TA) is one of the well known Arms of Indian Army. It gives opportunity for gainfully employed people in private/public sector. People who are self employed or having their own business can also apply for the exam that is held once a year.

Central Police Organization (S.I.)

Apart from Defence Entrance exams, CPO is also one of the option for aspirants who want to serve the country in Uniform. These exams give opportunity to the candidates to serve in Central Police Forces such as Central Industrial Police Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Central Reserve Police Force, Border Security Force, etc. At Shaurya Academy our students have performed very well in CPF Entrance exam followed by selection in their respective interviews.

 

 Staff Selection Commission (SSC)

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a government organization to recruit staff for various positions in the Departments and Ministries of India and in Subordinate Offices.

At Shaurya Academy we have a well organised training session for our candidates which are as follows:

  1. Regular SSC Practice Tests: An Institute with regular practice tests after completing considerable syllabus to give them exposure on the exam pattern during the coaching.

  3. Extensive coaching of Fundamentals of Quantitative Aptitude: SSC Syllabus covers most of the advanced mathematics topics, therefore, extensive coaching is a must for this subject to make the learning effective.
  4. Providing free SSC Test Series:  Besides practice tests, students should be provided real time test series for SSC exam.

Bank P.O./Clerk

Banking is a well-respected profession in our society. A banker working in National bank is not only working as an employee, but also as a mediator between the government and people who have limited access with developed parts of the country. Aspirants for Banking sector have two options to apply for the entrance exam – Bank P.O. (also known as IBPS PO for Nationalize Banks) and Bank Clerk  (also known as IBPS Clerk for Nationalize Banks). Our course is a combination of experienced trainers, Study Material and Test series with best coaching techniques for banking exam in Dehradun.
